Need a quick answer!!

Is this worth $16+shipping?

(2) Atari 5200 4-port consoles, both NOT working

(1) 5200 4-port switchbox

(1) 5200 4-port power supply

(2) 5200 controllers (unknown condition)

(11) 5200 game cartridges:

Pole Position

Defender (x2)

Centipede

Super Breakout

Galaxian

Q-Bert

Pac-Man (x2)

Missile Command

 

Can someone fix these???

If the consoles are in good *physical* condition, then I doubt they would be too difficult to fix. Do you know what's wrong with them? It could just be the switchbox or the power supply. I had a four-port switchbox die on me recently (all the magic smoke leaked out), and since the power supply is connected to the system through the switchbox, there's no way to use the system without a new switchbox.

 

For $16 though, I would take the chance that it's either the switchbox or the power supply.

The 5200 controllers will not be working. The 2 5200s are worthwhile to someone even if they are broken. The games probably work and the likely reason the 5200s are dead is a fuse in the switchbox. For $16 I'd definitely go for it.

Very possible. The PS and the two 4 ports are pretty heavy.

I was figuring about $15 for shipping. It just seems that any working ones that I'm seeing on e-bay are going for 30+20 for shipping....I've worked out deals in the past with people where I shipped them 2 broken units and they fixed one up for me and kept the other as payment and we were both happy. I don't know, maybe it isn't a good idea..........
