Tempest
I have three questions concerning overlays for the CV: 1. What games had overlays? 2. What games actually need overlays? 3. Does any one sell reproduction overlays?
mumbai
Re (1): '80s-era ColecoVision: 2010: The Graphic Action Game Cabbage Patch Kids Picture Show Dam Busters, The Dr. Seuss Fix-Up the Mix-Up Puzzler Facemaker Fortune Builder Front Line Ken Uston Blackjack/Poker Mouse Trap Rocky Super Action Boxing Smurf Paint 'n' Play Workshop Spy Hunter Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator Super Action Baseball Super Action Football War Room WarGames '80s-era ADAM: Electronic Flashcard Maker "Modern" ColecoVision/ADAM: Math Quest, though there might be others... Re (2): People have made overlays for a number of additional '80s-era titles. Many merely highlight the keypad key associated with pause functionality. Some are more "needed", as in the case of Gateway to Apshai. Re (3): Yes, though the individual's AA handle escapes me. Should be an easy forum query. Lucky Man
pboland makes great overlays. Here's the thread: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/202786-colecovision-overlays-available-reproduction/?tab=comments#comment-2598807 And his Super Action Controller overlays: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/248001-interest-check-super-action-controller-overlays-reproductions/?tab=comments#comment-3422706 And here's his orphan overlay thread: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/204979-interest-check-orphan-overlays-for-cv/?tab=comments#comment-2633813

TPR
@pboland used to sell repro overlays. There’s also a guy on eBay that has been selling them recently, too.
Tempest
Do many games actually need them or are they more or less pointless like the 5200 overlays? I have one for Mouse Trap which is kind of handy.
Lucky Man
I find them useful for games that use the keypad for gameplay functions.

NIAD
Someone on eBay U.K. has available over 60 overlays even for games that don’t need them. It seems they are making them for all Legacy games. I have not seen them firsthand, so someone who has will have to chime in re their quality. Pboland’s are outstanding quality.
