Which was the first multi-cart? Atarimax or?

Would the differences likely be with the cartridges themselves or could the method used for the dumping process cause these differences?  My cartridge seems to be one of the initial run of 50 of the Synapse carts.  I used an "AtariMax MaxFlash USB Programmer" cartridge to dump it.

Method used for dumping shouldn't matter: the dump should be the exact contents of cartridge in the order the bytes appear in the actual ROM itself. I'd guess @tjlazer used an AtariMax USB programmer to dump his too.

I'm not sure why the contents would be different; it is possible one of them (or both, for that matter) is bad dumps; but I doubt it. More likely they may be loading differing copies of the same games, or the games just happen to be stored internally on the carts in a different order, yet still use the same menu order. More analysis would be needed in order to determine exactly what's going on; I only made a quick run to see if differences existed, and whether they were substantial or not.

Looks like one was perhaps a later patch release as the obvious would be the spelling correction of Cowntdown to Countdown

You're right about that; although the differences internally are significantly more than a few characters.

If I may ask, what did you use to dump them? What cart type/banking scheme too? I am definitely going to download yours but would still like to see if I can dump my own as well. Thanks.

I used my Eprom programmer

Do you have any links to descriptions, etc.?  All I can come up with are side cars for motorcycles. ?

https://www.galtron.pl/nowe/ <-- buy the 1/2/4/8/16/32MB! versions

It's a battery backed RAM cart

I think it fits the criteria but it's not really a multicart as we would think of one today.

@xxl how long does the battery last in one of those if you are storing files on it and is there anything out there that is written to use it as RAM?

If @SS's cart is a later version of @tjlazer's cart, maybe the aformentioned XL/both OS patched versions of the titles were used in the newer cart? Label does say 400/800/XL/XE

Nope.  Those two games are still the 400/800 only versions.  They don't work on my 800XL.
