Help with the awesome WiFi232

Three and a half years ago, I posted this thread about connecting my new WiFi232 to my Atari Mega Ste. After I discovered that it was initially in the wrong port, it worked like a charm. I went on my share of BBS's for months  but kinda forgot about it.

Now, I want to use it again. I tried to set it up and so far have had no luck. I likely did change routers since then, so maybe that's the problem. I can't figure out a way to factory reset. There a reset button, but it think it just resets the session. In ANSI Term or Taz, I have the settings right, but when I type anything and hit Return the cursor goes right back to the first letter I typed. Typing AT, ATI, ATZ or anything else does nothing. I see my text, because echo is on.

What can I be doing wrong? It worked before on the same system. The LED on it lights continuously blue, so it's getting power. On my phone while looking for WIFI, the WiFi232 doesn't come up. Not sure if it's supposed to or not.

Actually, scratch most of that. I took the WiFi232 out and used it with my IBM 5160 XT. It worked great, and router settings were still saved. Hmm, gonna try again tomorrow, it was probably something I overlooked like the Mega's ribbon cable not fully pushed in or something. :D
