Real good basedrums you only hear in songs with sampled drums...

Some had tried to create similar soundings by mixed using of different generators but you'll never gain a woofer-driving sound with that.

Only by using a 16 Bit channel with generator "A" and a programmed "base"-vibrato it is possible to create cool drums or baselines out of the POKEY.

To get the best results out of the POKEY it was to look at the Softsynth program... one or two voices of this technique for the baseline has to be used..

The main voice has to be created with the 16Bit Filtering like I used in Admirandus, with that it is possible to create piano or filtered-flute sounds... so you will get clear instruments even if the screen is enabled (softsynth allways switches the screen off)

One voice would be left for Digi-Drums...

Okay, but what about what I mentioned in the first post. How do you create drumsounds without digital samples, by updating pokey AUDF + AUDC every 1/50 or 1/200 second with a lookup table?

Can anyone send me a VBI (or other) lookup table of a bass- or snare drum?

It's used in almost every demo.

Why don't you take a look at the songs in RMT?

ANALMUX: well, try this out

http://atariarea.histeria.pl/pliki.php?sec=show&id=208

It's a Polish program done years ago, but it is cool, anyway.

Press START and then move with joysticks plugged into ports #1 and #2.

And you gonna hear digi sound! :D

Or you can build a special tool to easy this 'playing'. Its scheme is included in this proggy, as well ! :)

RASTER: you are cool dude indeed, it's was pleasant to talk with you during Orneta-party. :)

I wish I was a musican - I could try out your RMT at its best !
