is there a list of games on cartridge that dont require the 32k ram expansion?

well, most of them... ive got a load of 8k, 16k images that wont run. here: 

 

also extended basic wont run

yeah its something to do with flashrom 99, it just isnt as good. maybe i have to do some kind of conversion?

That seems odd... are you using a "QI" or V2.2 console?

yeah. i dont have a 32k ram expansion. let me check the version...

its definitely not a qi as these were beige. must be a 2.2 then?

The 1981 doesn't really prove it's not a QI.
