Help me find this game

I can't remember the name of it. It looks and plays very similar to the 2D computer Duke Nukem games.

 

Its a run n gun...... the guy is in a white space suit.... he wears no helmet.. has kind of a cartoony goofy face and has a flatter blonde hairstyle similar to Duke's.

 

I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called.

It rings a faint bell. I was about to suggest Earthworm Jim but I don't think that is it.

 

I was also thinking about Freddy Hardest but while he has a blonde hairstyle on the profile pic, he doesn't wear a white space suit.

How about Monster Bash from Apogee software

 

The main character is Johnny Dash and he is a blonde kid who wears a white jumpsuit( space suit)

If no one can answer you I highly recommend posting on Reddit under Tip of My Joystick cuz those guys can find pretty much any game from the description. They found one I was looking for for decades.

It looks almost exactly like this...... except the guy is wearing all white and he has kind of a cartoony face. Like he has bigger eyes, a bigger  nose etc. Would be the goofy looking version of 2D Duke.

What was it for? MS-DOS? What year would you say you played it? It sorta fits the description of the aforementioned Monster Bash.

Its a dude with a gun shooting robots and shit. It isnt monstsr bash. I played it in 95.... but the game was older than that. Ms dos.

 

Its literally a carbon copy of Duke Nukem. Down to level design. Just the guy is similar but different. Slap a white space suit on Duke Nukem and thats what Im looking for.

Wow "homebrew software" that says a lot.  Those images, I see it now, it's a blatant apogee/duke nukem ripoff in every way.  I could see it going either way being awesome as duke or just bad.
