Atari should do this as a VCS exclusive

They should recreate these games like this video, hunt down these people, and get them to recreate all the classics like this.

Funny thing is that aside from E.T., all of those titles are from Activision.

It's actually a cool idea. I loved From Software's 3D Dot Game Heroes on PS3 which is essentially the same concept applied to Zelda.  Done well, it's can be a really cool approach to updating retro games.

Haunted House would be cool. What's in the vault collections? Have to stick with what they own.

This kind of thing would move systems. Or this approach to the games blended into some sort of Kingdom Hearts-type game where the worlds are all pulled together for a bigger adventure.

I even have the tagline: Can you save Atari today?

The key to the video is that these games play very faithfully to the original, which doesn't seem to happen when people try to update Atari 2600 era games to 3D. I'd be all over these! But, as stated, almost none of these games are under Atari's control.

Definitely they should do something with Combat turn it into a 3rd person thing like Return Fire on the 3DO they have plenty of IP they could do this kind of stuff with.  This video is probably from Activision guys who are rebooting some games on Steam or something or whatever I am just saying Atari should look at this moar.  I am sure they have done well with the Missile Command reboot and I am sure it did not cost them much to make that.

Wow, that looks really cool.  It would be a great way to experience the old games.  Atari could probably sell quite few system with games like this.
