Star Raiders loading issues

I recently got an Atari 5200 and picked up about 17 games all for pretty cheap, but anyway everything works great (even controller which was unexpected). But one game Star Raiders just won’t load up properly, I get the Atari Logo and it shows the games name, but after that it’s just a gargled mess of lines and letters, numbers and symbols. It’s the only game to do it, I’ve tried cleaning it several times but no luck, any suggestions or is it a dead cart?

Examine the cartridge edge connector for damaged contacts. If everything looks good, you can try opening the cart and physically examining the PCB. I don’t recall if Atari carts are socketed but if the board has sockets, try removing and reseating and ROMs, and of course if you see any corrosion, clean the chip and socket pins. Look closely as well for any damaged traces between the ROM and the PCB edge connector.
