Night Stalker Question

Recommended Posts

Anyone recognize the item in the top right of the maze?

I've played a bit of N.S. but have not been good enough to reach a very high score and know if the screen adds challenges I don't know about.

Thanks,

HJ

It's a simulated picture (as the image says), skewed to fit the television set's perspective.  It's taken straight from the catalog, and it seems to be one of those artist's renderings while the game is still in development.

From the catalog:

NightStalkerScreen.gif

From the game:

Download Night Stalker (Intellivision) - My Abandonware

That said, I guess that red squiggle on the top right is intended to represent a robot exploding, and the black dot next to it a piece of the robot flying out.

The black dot in the upper right could also be the player's bullet. I think in Night Stalker your bullets would continue after getting a kill.

Yes thats the bullet, the bullet could take out anything in the corridor you shot it in.

It's a bat that's been shot.  A robot breaks in to pieces that go flying in different directions.
