A new picture heavy thread of neat looking TI gear, I'll try to post something once a week, unless someone beats me to it.

That's a pretty good trick.  Wonder how they crammed it all in there.

The Zeno Board is huge. It covers most of the main board of the 99/4A. That gives it plenty of space to put lots of capability into the console.

One of these days I'm gonna ask one of you hardware experts to build my Zeno board up to the max and stick it in one of my consoles.

Probably a beige one....

The power supplies for these can be a bit HTF (from experience) as the pin-out on the power connector is not well documented.

Let me know if you get it working, this unit didn't come with a PS, and would like to know of a working unit - before I go all mad scientist thing! 😃

If @Ksarul doesn't find his, I'll find mine Friday. Got a new job as a machinist, 100 miles away and the drive is not giving me much time to do a lot

Yep, these kits were definitely interesting, as I don't think they came with a case. I have one that I initially thought might have been a variant of the Australian 3-port PEB (and it still may be, as I haven't totally finished my investigations there). Looking at this one, I'm really wondering if Captain's Wheel was using a variant of the Australian design. . .especially as that design was given freely to the world in the Brisbane newsletter it appeared in (it even included the board masks).

Even more rare, Captain's Wheel docs.

Nice find! The only other Captain's Wheel Docs I've seen was the scan for their 32K accessory (up on WHT).

I use one of these for one of my "test" systems, or better stated, my living room gaming system. It works like a champ. . .

I had one I the 90's, had to sell it at one of the Chicago fairs to help pay off the debt from when I purchased D'Wright stuffs ti inventory. Hated to see it go.

I have one as well. Bought off eBay many moons ago, and it didn’t work. Marc Hull graciously fixed it up for me to full working order. It only formats disks to 1280 sectors (ds/dd) which was Myarc’s preferred level of format. I also have a Percom disk system that plugs directly into the TI.
