Will ship to US and the Great White North, only. **SOLD** First up, G3 iBook M6411 PowerMac2,2 with original power supply. 128MB RAM, 10GB HDD, DVD drive, Airport WiFi, running MacOS 9.2.2. It will run OSX but I do not have an install disc. The battery is way, way past expiration. $25 plus shipping. Next, a G4 Mac Server M5183 PowerMac3,1 400MHz. 512MB RAM, Zip100, 120GB SSD, running unregistered MorphOS 3.15. No keyboard or mouse. Sound is not working under MorphOS, but I understand it will with a compatible sound card. $100 plus shipping. Finally, two one MacMini PPC with power supply, no keyboard or mouse. One system has 32GB SSD, Airport wireless, and 1.42GHz G4 , the other with 64GB SSD w/o wireless and 1.33GHz G4. We only had a handful of Mac users at the time, but I was tasked with supporting them so the boss put this monstrosity on my desk one day. I could be wrong since it's been a LONG time since I checked into MorphOS. But, I think it has a 68k Amiga emulator that runs the software. So, it's like double-clicking on an Atari 2600 ROM when you have Stella installed. You still have to pay for a one time, THAT machine specific activation of MorphOS otherwise it time bombs and slows to a crawl after a certain amount of time. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The link to the MorphOS page explains quite a bit. In short, MorphOS is a next-generation Amiga operating system. It is not directly descendant from AmigaOS, but @Gemintronic is correct that it will run 68k Amiga software in emulation. There are MorphOS-native applications to run, as well, which it runs at full speed, and the 68k software runs very well (much better than my 50MHz 68060.) The caveat on 68k compatibility is that it will only run Workbench-friendly software -- most games and demos will not run as they are tied to the Amiga hardware. As well, it does require purchase, 79 EUR. Otherwise, the unregistered demo installation runs for 30 minutes before slowing itself down to an almost completely unusable speed. Registration is tied to a single machine, but you can get it transferred should that machine die. It is a very useful and versatile system. I cannot say I would recommend it for anyone without Amiga experience. It is Amiga-compatible, but not fully Amiga. It is not Windows or MacOS, but its own system with a kind-of backward compatibility. If you can accept all of that, then it is worth trying.
