Virtual Jag - Android

Down loaded this app from the Play store to try out games on it. Wow it's slow! Painfully slow!! Anyone else seen it and tried it yet? I left a review and let him know. It'd be great if he could speed it up and get it working correctly. Couldn't get Power Drive Rally to work. Nice app and interface but needs a lot work yet. Any other apps like this that actually do work?

I've heard good things about the Irata Jaguar emulator.  It's from the same people who did the Project Phoenix emulator.

But it doesn't look like it's listed on Google Play anymore, so you would have to download the apk and side-load it

Sounds good! I'll check it out. Thanks!

FYI - we're currently adding 5200, and 8-bit after that... We've talked about/posted pictures of the WIP builds of those 2 on social media. We tend to be working on one, and have one "at bat" and then as we complete one, we decide on the next one "at bat".

If it worked great, could I put it in jaguar mini? Adding legacy support like 5200 7800 etc? No lag with usb controller? Like usb c to usb a to usb 2.0 genesis controller?

You mean with Argon? We already support both Bluetooth and USB game controllers (and keyboards), and also already support 5200 and 7800. It is the Jaguar that isn't there yet ;-)

And we have a Raspberry Pi version internally, which will become a public release later on - so if you wanted to do a 3D printed case (or stick the Pi inside a Jag case) you could do that...

Awesome. If I made a mini could I use your software once jag emu is better with wire usb pads for no latency. Im interesting in putting software in a mini jag shell. 5v powered mini with usb controllers.

IIRC it was a paid app and had some form of DRM I didn't bother to try to get around when side loading.

irata Jaguar is now a pay app?

Otherwise probably one of the best Jag emulators I've seen to date.
