PAL Tester for a Homebrew?

Karl G

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone with a PAL 7800 and a multicart would be willing to test the recently-added PAL version of my sci-fi Adventure-style game on hardware for me? This is my first time making a PAL version for a 7800 game, so I just wanted to check that the look and feel seems about right. In the same topic is a link to play the NTSC version in js7800 to give a frame of reference for comparison.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Karl

like promised.....checked the game on PAL.

Works very well....but also the NTSC File works

well on my PAL system.

BTW.......a map would help and a manual ?

But i see and hear....it is Adventure....but in Space

How about a Space dragon as enemy?

greetings Walter

Thanks for testing for me! The space blobs are supposed to be the equivalent of the dragons in this game. I'm rather fond of how they turned out.  ?

Karl, I can test on a PAL box if you still need testers.

I'm working on a new version that includes some PAL tweaks in addition to other changes, so having someone take another look at the PAL version when I release that version would be helpful. I'll tag you when I do. Thank you!

Thanks! I've uploaded a new version which includes PAL timing tweaks (amongst many other general changes) if you still have time to take a look at it.  ?

A little manual with map and item description would make testing much easier ?

The new version also now includes a full manual - something I should have added much sooner! Hopefully it will be useful. Thanks again for testing.
