Not officially but there is a home brew for the 7800:

that does not in any way take away from your point, of course. Atari really should have developed more games featuring Bentley Bear. Then again, I guess when you come up with a scrapyard owner named Louis, well, then you know you’ve struck gold and forget any other past characters.

I would really like to see Atari add some Atari Age home brews in the store. I am interested to see what they do when they come out with whatever they have planned for emulation.

He was in Atari Karts, right?

Maybe, but I've seen so many pinball videogames over the years, that I wonder how it could stand out.    The Neon visuals might be a start.   Maybe a "construction set" mode too?

IDK either.   I remember Big Five Software would pop up from time to time in the internet age and do reissues of the game.   Maybe they sold the IP directly to Atari recently?   I don't remember it passing to any other owners

I'd buy a modern take on the Bounty Bob games!  Something with the graphics of Little Big Planet would be sweet!

Maybe they just decided it was time to join Atari and we will get Bounty Bob Strikes Again!

Yeah I was wondering about that.   Did they mean to put "Bounty Bob Strikes Back" or did they let slip a new title?   I can't imagine they'd get the rights to Miner but not BBSB, so I think it might be a typo.

I did find a "Bounty Bob Rides Again" at Internet Archive, but it looks like a homebrew effort, not an official title.

there are a ton of games to choose from as mentioned in the previous IP listings.

as long as they stick to the major well known ones, and some lesser ones (like black widow), thats plenty.

Yes, while there are lots of titles not all of the titles are viable choices.  I really don't see a Fun With Math: Recharged coming anytime this century.

Not even with neon numerals?    I'm holding out for "Basic Programming Recharged" myself.   In 20 column glory!  ?

I would love to see Bentley Bear in a new game.   As mentioned before he should of been in more games.

Definitely I could see a Crystal Castles: Recharged, or at least some type of sequel.  It is a notable enough title to warrant it imo.

Custer's Revenge Recharged... Everyone said they wanted exclusives for the VCS, there you go. Gives a whole new meaning to "exclusives." Seriously though, videogame porn could be a niche for the VCS lol. I bet the VCS would be flying off shelves.

Ha, "if you want that old childish stuff, go for Nintendo.  If you want hardcore adult action, choose Atari!"

This is an interesting article focused on Centipede: Recharged, but also about the series.
The Atari guy is one we don't usually hear from, so it's good to see more people interviewing.

After Centipede and Black Widow, I'm very excited about the Asteroids release.

Does anyone think they will implement the Killer Satellite from Asteroids Deluxe in Recharged?

Also, Breakout (as far as I know) is still a mystery. I wonder how it will compare to what we've seen of the Amico version. Hoping to get a teaser soon.

According to this presentation (FR) from the Combined Shareholders’ Meeting of Atari S.A. held on November 30, 2021, Breakout: Recharged will be a Q1 2022 release.  This isn't surprising given that Asteroids isn't coming until December 14.

Also of interest is a re-imagining of PONG for 1 to 8 players.  Its slated for a Spring 2022 release and does not bear the RECHARGED branding.  It will be interesting to see if Breakout is the conclusion of the series.

The presentation also mentions that this new Pong game will take elements from other classic Atari titles. They did that with Pong Quest so I'm assuming the initial idea came from that game.

The Atari Mania game catches my interest the most (also coming to VCS). Pretty neat logo.

The recharged series won’t end after Breakout. In one of the YouTube videos with Jason Polanski (producer at Atari), he stated more would be made in the series.
