I wonder why this version does not have a piece preview.

I have a rom with this feature.

It does - in the upper right hand corner.....

… difficulty switch must be „B“ to show next piece (with „A“ there is no preview).

That's the solution, thanks.

At game over on Chetiry, I cannot see my score 😞 It just displays the high scores.

@Thomas Jentzsch has allowed VROOM! to be added to the PlusROM High Score Club.

VROOM! is one of the rare paddle games (fire buttons only) in the PlusROM HSC. For up to eight players, if you use a QuadTari.

Thomas has put a lot of work into the details, and the game is a joy to play (and especially for kids in kids mode).

As always, PlusCart user/tester can find the PAL60, and NTSC versions in the PlusStore directory "Public ROMs\PlusROMs\High Score Club" or in "Recently Added ROMs" for the next few days.

The NTSC version can be played online in javatari.js. The ROM-file can also be played with Gopher2600, or the newest version of Stella.

@Armscar Coder has adapted RAPTOR so that it can be used in the PlusROM High Score Club.

Andrew has put a lot of effort into the details of the game, and it is a great pleasure to play it.

All those who reach 1000 points and more with their PlusCart or emulator will be rewarded with a beautiful virtual patch in the HSC.

Great to see more games added to HSC! I had a little suggestion but don't know if this is the best place to do it. I was thinking if it would be better to keep only one score per user in the leaderboards, the highest one of course, as it's done in other online leaderboards like the RetroAchievements ones. I feel the leaderboars i'm in get a little polluted with all my scores, and this might get worse as more users get into this. This should give visibility to a greater number of players and not only the best or most constant ones. What do you think about this? Just putting my 2 cents

I agree. But current view is also useful to track history, so I think it's better to have a "summary/detailed" option to toggle the view.

There had been a discussion about this already, but I haven't included this feature yet.

Great idea! It's always nice to have a place where to track progress in a game. I also think that the single score per user should be the default, because you can take a look at the leaderboards from the PlusCart itself but it can't display all the entries (or I don't know how to do that), so only high scores can be useful in that case

Great! No rush at all, I only wanted to expose this idea and I guess you already have a lot of work with the PlusCart itself :)

@Nukey Shay's "Space Invaders Deluxe" has been modified for the PlusROM High Score Club.

Only the first player scores will be sent (even with 2 player games). The difficulty switches are not in the game variations (otherwise we would have 448 game variations) so be sure to play with the difficulty switches set for small player and double shot.

The source code with the PlusROM functions for the HSC backend added can be found at the PlusROM example/hacks github repository here:

https://github.com/Al-Nafuur/PlusROM-Hacks/tree/main/High Score Club hacks/Space Invaders Deluxe HSC

As always, PlusCart user can find the single ROM version (PAL and NTSC can be switched with B/W) in the PlusStore directory "Public ROMs\PlusROMs\High Score Club"

The ROM can be played online in javatari.js. The ROM-file can also be played with Gopher2600, or the newest version of Stella.

There is a "Space Invaders Deluxe" label by @keitaro which is base on @Atariboy2600's "Space Invaders Arcade" design.

🤔

Maybe we should use this for the "Space Invaders Deluxe" box art on the PlusROM HSC?

@Al_Nafuur There is a bug on the website.

When you select to display only the highest score of each player and then change the game variation, the result is always empty.
