Pirates Treasure Chest

Recommended Posts

I have the disk, I am not looking for it.    It seems to me, I remember a book that went along with the disk.   Granted, I am getting older, and I may be thinking of the Software Protection Techniques which was both a book and disk.   Was there a book?  If not a book, an instruction manual?   There is THIS on Retrobits:   http://www.retrobits.net/atari/treasurechest.shtml    But does anyone have a PDF version?

The instructions are on side 1 of the disk. If you boot with Basic, a Title Screen will come up, giving you 2 options. The 1st will select the MENU, the 2nd is to view the instructions, with the option to print them. image.thumb.png.67d2e6e85b959572ddb6a6492dd4a311.png

Oh, I thought, it was a game, I didn't know. Some mysterious pirate adventure game, maybe. :ahoy:

A fellow called Guybrush Threepwood once convinced me, these can be quite good.

Turns out, it's a collection of disk-utilities and copy-programs.

This book was never associated with the Pirate's Treasure Chest software.
