Atlantis (reimagined) gameplay video

Recommended Posts

Probably not very well known. But a newer version of Atlantis was on the wii game: Arcade Zone.

Using motion controls for shooting, perhaps the Amico will utilize similar motion controls? And upgrade the gfx some.

How about a port of this Android cell phone game!

Go ahead an re-imagine Atlantis...  But I hope it is nothing like these!

I know how you love the snow levels.  Hard to do with a sunken city.  But maybe it could be in a snow globe?

It would likely be along the likes of the original, and visually similar (and improved) to the Wii version.

The people playing did a good job of making it look boring.

The player that lasted longer didn't really move or time shots.

I played this a bunch on the 2600 BITD, but the Intellivision version was much better.  Of course it came after the 2600 version so they had time to add to the game play.

I wouldn't expect a reimagined Atlantis on Amico anytime soon.  They mentioned redundancy with Amico Missile Command.  The original Atari 2600 Atlantis is quite a bit different than the Intellivision version; with fixed angle gun turrets compared to the precise targeting system on Intellivision.

Actually, I'd never paid any attention to that title before, but I looked it up. Nice,
as it's got several other classic Activation games on there too, which surprised me.

It's got modestly reimagined games of various types, and it got a good review.

I ordered it, EUR 11.75 delivered to my door, by the weekend, all being well.
Thanks for the heads-up!

* Something like this on the Amico would also work, as the games are 4-player.
