Having fun with the BIOS chip!

Not really messing with the BIOS, but one of the first I things I did when I was learning to program the 5200 was figuring out how to put the game title and copyright year on that screen.  I was so excited when I made it work.

I'm surprised nobody has modded the BIOS so that it plays a POKEY rendition of Have You Played Atari Today? at the boot screen. That was one of the coolest little touches Atari Corp did with the Jaguar and it would be great to see on the 5200 and 7800*...

 

 

 

 

*for a POKEY enhanced 7800... otherwise, a TIA rendition...

7800 has a new and very cool BIOS about to be released in the near future...

No pokey enhancement but it cool none the less. Just need Al to confirm if the manual and art assets are approved and get them made up.
