DJ_player
I'm trying to find a coin-op arcade game from about '85 that I cannot recall the name of. It was a tank game (pretty sure it was not TNKIII) where power-ups gave your tank a chain that shot out and spun in an arc, destroying any enemy it touched. I think maybe your guy was a commando who hopped in the tank if he got to it? Any ideas?
RJ
The "hop in the tank" part you're thinking of Front Line which had no chain. Maybe Sarge? I never played it
RJ
Namco had one called Grobda which is a tank from Xevious, I've never seen or played it however. AFA the chain element, maybe you're getting Rygar mixed up in this? Edited October 7, 2021 by RJ
Mik's Arcade
I know I have this.....I don't remember the name offhand....I'll figure it out and post the answer. I'm sure its not Ikari Warriors. EDIT: The game I was thinking about is Caliber 50, but I don't think that's the one you are looking for. Still, I know I've played the one you are talking about.
