Batman's short life

I played Batman: the caped crusader on IBM PC.

 

Joker level.

 

 

The control is simple: it uses only one button and a joystick since most computers only support joystick with one button.

 

In Joker level, I don't see any bad guys to take down. Instead, Batman just explores Gotham City park and take any items he can find.

 

 

In the inventory screen, I noted Batman's energy is decreasing. I guess he is poisoned for some reason by the Joker?

 

 

After a while, Batman dies and the Joker comes out.

 

I probably need a manual to understand how to play.

 

Batman the caped crusader is not a kind of game to play by guessing unlike Pac-Man.

 

This game has positive review despite it's rated #29th as worst game of all time by Computer Gaming World November 1996
