Retrospect
I've been aware of a particular sprite within the game Parsec for a while now, but up to now I've never bothered to mention it. I am curious though. In the sprites, there's a space ship that exists but is not used. In the game, we know the Urbites, Dramites, and Bynites are the same sprite. Could there have been a mistake? Was one of those three meant to look different? Maybe the Dramite was meant to be the different sprite, as it's quite nasty looking? Does anyone know anything about this? GDMike
That's the one I could never get...along with most others. But I was real good at those asteroids. I can hit those suckers without looking. 2

All I can think is when they programmed it did they accidentally use the same pattern as the other two cruiser type enemies? (Dramite, Urbite and Bynite share the same pattern which is odd to begin with)
oddemann
I played Parsec and played until the score "reset" to "zero", never seen that ship!
HOME AUTOMATION
It seems to have the greatest target area of all ...perhaps it is used as the invisible ship. ...Strangely, it does look somewhat familiar to me! 2
+Ksarul
@urbite could probably provide some enlightment there, as one of the original programmers for this title. . .and there may be clues in the source code as well (available in the programming resources thread). 1
apersson850
It seems they are just commented as attack ships in the source. 1

Gaspo
Hey everyone. In my next release for Android I am working on bringing to life that mysterious ship that has been forgotten by the developers of Parsec back in 1982. I named the new enemy ship, “Falcon”, designed as red, it moves like a bird and is armed with “Radioactive Alloy Hooks”. To beat it you have to shoot it 3 times. The idea is that from level 10 after the Swoopers, it appears randomly before some of the known enemy sequences. Attached the sprite and demo video. Tell me what you think. Thanks a lot!
