tailGator #1 Posted August 25, 2003 Was there a color and a black and white version of Thunderground by Sega? The reason I ask is that I just saw one on eBay with a B&W label.

MattyXB #3 Posted August 25, 2003 Maybe only a Black and White scan from the color lable.
tailGator #4 Posted August 26, 2003 I know you were kidding, but I thought that it was a B&W scan too. The table was in color though, so there goes that theory... I just haven't seen the variation mentioned on any label listings.
video game addict #5 Posted August 26, 2003 It's completely possible to scan a cart in B&W or grey scale, and make it look like a B&W label with a scan. But for a picture of the game on a table, where the table's still in color, then it might just be very faded. Is it the exact same design? Could be either a very faded cart, or maybe the original owner replaced the label with a homemade one. Did you have a link to the auction?
Keir #6 Posted August 26, 2003 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...9&category=3528 Not just B&W, but upside-down!
video game addict #7 Posted August 27, 2003 Maybe that was the prototype for when they finally decided to put the labels on right. With the exception of the white label games, Spy Hunter, Tapper, Up n'Down, they are all upside down when you plug them in your Atari. That is a rather odd label for sure. moycon #8 Posted August 27, 2003 Maybe it was stored on a window sill for 10 years...That would explain the B&W lable.
