+SpiceWare
On Saturday I got into my car and had this on the screen: So I pulled out my phone, took a picture of it, launched the Tesla App, and requested service. Was done in under a minute. On Sunday I received an update that Tesla Mobile Service would be out Wednesday between 12:30 and 16:30 to replace it. On Monday I received the estimate with a request to approve it. Estimate was $0, which surprised me as I was expecting to have to pay for the battery as a normal wear and tear item. On Wednesday the tech showed up to my home at 12:45. I mentioned my glove box no longer did the smooth open, it would instead abruptly drop down when I pressed the open glovebox button (sometimes some of the contents would bounce out). I also asked about the $0 for the battery, he said that now falls under the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 year or 50K miles. He also said he liked my Charge Port Skinz, said he hadn't seen anything like it before. Sadly Evannex no longer sells them, but it looks like TesBros will be making some soon. He wrapped everything up in about 30 minutes. I really like Tesla Mobile Service.
