I remember when that came out. It was one of the first along with Lynx Othello, SIMIS, SFX, and Ponx.

 

Is anybody in touch with Markus? I wonder if he would consider reissuing Sokomania and Pokermania on a modern card with a plastic shell.

Yeah I agree with you. You can still get the old ones though. Actually thebrewingcompany will do custom jobs and print out carts. Not sure what they cost you though.

They’d better not print out carts of copyrighted homebrew without permission…

 

I know a place that still has Sokomania and Pokermania in stock for €60. I don’t want to publicize it for fear of eBay resellers but if you are interested I will PM you.

Since the ebay offer is a rip-off then, you should post the link because of that - not holding it back instead!

My fear about posting it publicly is that a lurker sweeps in and cleans them out of all their homebrew and flips it. I am happy to share it with anybody who wants it.

Yes exactly. That is why the cases of Double Dragon and Desert Strike went up to over $300 per game on US ebay. They bought them for 50 per game only a couple months ago.

Well, we can't live in fear of eBay scammers...and can't protect all the clueless buyers. And I'd rather give Good Deal Games, which has supported us for many years, the legit business.

Definitely, if they have it in stock! My recollection was that they didn’t have much Lynx stuff left from my conversations with them last year.
