Yes, I had the same earlier where it wasn't getting to the site, after about 40 mins it went back to being responsive... Been OK since..

EDIT: and now its started timing out again..

Edit 2: taking numerous goes to try and send replies, constant 522's. Also, other EU and US sites ok, just AA

I wonder if it's a network routing issue between Cloudflare (a reverse proxy I'm using for AA) and the AtariAge web server.  Load on the server is fine, so it should be responding promptly, which suggests there's a network issue somewhere.  This 522 error is one I haven't generally seen before, and there are several things that can cause it, but in this case I think it might be a network issue.  If you are experiencing this issue, it would be helpful to know where you are located.

It's not just AA.  I was looking at some other sites this morning and I'm seeing the same thing... even saw something about an instagram post that mentioned "tried to post this this morning but the service was down".

So I'd go with the cloudflare explanation.

Yeah, since turning it off a few minutes ago it seems to be fine.

Yeah, I started noticing issues around 2am CST. Horribly slow loading, if at all. Lots of timeouts. Quite a few error 522s. I haven't noticed any issues since I got up this afternoon though.

Of course these things happen while I'm sleeping!  Thanks for confirming it's fine now.

I've had some sporadic issues with accessing stuff sitting in Cloudflare's CDN over the last 24 hours or so.  Dunno if that may be affecting AA or not, but figured it might be worth mentioning.

That was definitely the problem. As soon as I disabled Cloudflare, things went back to normal.

it looked like others were still having issues but they were referring to earlier in the day without that time context included, so it's probably all fine.

I did a few reaction presses and bopped about some more tabs and around the forum... it is much better for me, best it's been.
