Exploring un(-der)documented features of the Lynx

Sorry for replying late - preparing for Christmas...

 

No replacement screens in my Lynxes. I do have a Benn Venn,  but never got to install it.

Also no problems with my adapter whatsoever.

Power on, power off - sometimes i do this 3-4 times a minute.

Power on with comlynx loader cart inside, compile (makefile sends compiled file  automatically), test, switch off and repeat.

Here also, preparing for Xmas, that's why the Lynx was 2h unintended.

 

So maybe the old screen drains enough power to allow a real power off (it is a soft power off anyway).

 

BTW: If you connect TP1 via button to GND => RESET (quicker as power off/on and maybe healthier).

good idea :)

 

with the mcwill mod, I noticed a glitch for games which have a very fast boot process, that the buttons are not read correctly. i guess this is also an effect of different power consumption and behaviour
