Hello, I am wondering what assembly software is the best to get for the XEGS?

Uhm... you'd probably rather want to program on your PC, using a crossassembler and an atari emulator.

 

This process is way quicker and more fun I'd assume.

 

Look for the postings about ATASM and XASM right here in this board, both seem to be very suitable.
