Way to test Rambo XL 256k Memory upgrade? And Q about file conversions

Hello,

Wondering if there was a small basic program or something I can load through my S-drive MAX that tests the Rambo XL memory?

Also, Is there a PC utility to convert Atari 8bit files such as .com, .rom to .XEX or other file extensions?

thanks,

t

I seem to remember a caveat about XRam and a Rambo 256k upgrade... IIRC, I think the first bank of extended memory would show a problem even when one didn't exist.  Now this makes me want to pull out a Rambo 800XL and test...  I will.

See?

Yes... don't use Satantronic's XRAM tester 0.21.0 - it was updated in 2019 To 0.22.0 specifically to not erroneously detect the 4 banks that mirror the base 64K in a RAMBO type 256K upgrade:

0.22.0 looks like this on a RAMBO 256K XL - note nothing on $8x row:
