BSRSteve
While going through some cartridges, I found this shell which has a solid back - no screws, no glued panel. It has a board in it somehow, though not out as far as needed, but I have no idea how it would get in there. Anyone seen anything like it? It does have a Mattel copyright on the bottom, and an insert line without the text on the top.
+evg2000
probably slid in from the front and the plastic piece is either glued or locks into place to hold the pcb.
+JasonlikesINTV
I'm pretty sure I have a few like this. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.
mr_me
I have a Motocross and a Treasure of Tarmin like that. Both Intellivision Inc. releases, the Tarmin cartridge has copyright Mattel Inc in the plastic but lower towards the back. The Motocross is more like yours but the Mattel embossing is blanked out of the mold. Your pcb is shoved in too far, something has gone wrong obviously. Does it work? IMBerzerk
My Super Pro Football uses this method. It's terrible. Breaks easy and I have to keep re-gluing it. Most likely it broke free and is shoved in too deep. Or eventually it gets stuck in the cart slot when you pull out the case. Then you need pliers to remove it from the Intv. +JasonlikesINTV
Went through some carts tonight and pulled a few out for pics. I probably have more. Notice the shell difference between the 1983 games ("Mattel Inc" stamped on shell) and the Intellivision Inc games (raised horizontal bar on the shell). I can't remember what game was originally in the broken shell, but I think it was a red label Mr Basic.
Humblejack
I had a few you did not have so I thought I would post them. The only reason for the lone pic of BurgerTime is that the brand on the back is in a different location. The WS Baseballs as you can see are USA and Singapore. I also included the pic of my Locomotion I no longer have but am positive that it has the solid cart too. I had 2 of them and both were solid cart. Any of you out there have a B&W Locomotion in the door style cart?

My Vectron is like this (see my pic above). They like similar to the Mattel Inc shells, but with the raised bar instead of the words. Games For Your Intellivision
The shells with the two slotted holes are basically M network carts without the atari cartridge adaptor. There is a clip on each side internally and a small circuit board usually with a blob of epoxy on the chip slides into a plastic adaptor that clips into the locks on the sides internal to the shell, to hold the circuit board in place. Normally, this is a one way operation and you'll never get the board out of the hollow cartridge shell, because there's no way to click the clips to allow them to be removed without cutting into the shell. However, on my ecs baseball, the circuit board got stuck in the cart slot and when i pulled the cartridge out, the empty shell came apart from the clip and the circuit board. I put it away in the box, and later when I discovered something strange in the slot, I didn't know what it was and tossed it (and my ecs baseball cart) in the garbage, just keeping the empty shell. Later, when I went to play the game, I realized my mistake. 1
Zendocon
I had a Mr. BASIC cart that remained in the ECS when I pulled the shell out once. I thought it was just me.
