2021 Intellivision Homebrew Awards - Nominee Credits: who did what

Recommended Posts

Below is the information currently available on credits for each nominee, to the best I was able to gather.

Please get in touch if something is incorrect.

Also, some stuff is missing. Let me know if you have information.

Note for next year: need to find a way for nominees themselves to populate all this. This is a lot of work.

I did the box layout/design for HELI but not the front cover artwork, check with Rev for who did that.

Same with Unlucky Pony's Adventures, Ni Felter and Super Pro KOTM.(art was provided by Intvdave)

I did do the layout and artwork for Fantasy.

Thanks. I updated the tables to reflect that.

@Rev could you take a quick look and let me know if all looks fine?

@Zendocon I sent an email to Mr Tomasson about box credits for X-Ray & DILLIGAS. Waiting to hear back.

I can help you out with a couple of things. I created the printed manuals for Fantasy, Ni Felter, Omega Race, and Unlucky Pony's Adventures. I also designed the overlays for Fantasy and Omega Race.

Phil Boland is credited in the manuals for doing the overlays for Ni Felter, Unlucky Pony's Adventures, and Jr. Pac-Man.

Ni Felter was programmed by Claus Bækkel

Great job compiling all this info, BTW.

Awesome, thanks!

All captured.

EDIT - oops, forgot to add Claus to other fields in Ni Felter. Fixed.

how much of what gets done rests on the shoulders of so few

Winston Churchill goes Intellivision!

Also, let's hope this quote also applies to Intellivision homebrew:

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Which makes me very thankful for the work that you guys do... but also a little scared? What if you guys win the lottery or something? ;-)

Good.  Retire from my job and have more time for game development.  Everybody wins.

nice job

You laid the foundation, my friend.

Thanks for what you have done in the past.

Hopefully this year is a step forward... but we will see what happens and how much the community will embrace it.

Will people show up and vote? I sure hope so.

On the other hand, if there is no reaction, then that will tell us something too.

Either way, clearly, it can't be just one person alone doing everything every year...

yes, adding categories and more material.. it's not a 1 man task anymore.... from my side I'm working for a youtube session commenting on the votes.... If I managed to organise I'll put link here

Awesome! I hope you will be able to make the YouTube video.

Also going forward, if you'd like to stay involved in this annual vote, please let me know... There are many cool things that can be done.

Valter

The idea is to keep results hidden, and to reveal them during Papa Pete's stream on Feb 11th.

Could you instead focus your stream on encouraging people to participate and vote?

At the moment this encouragement is really important, even more so than discussing partial results.

Without enough participation, the results become irrelevant ?
