and want to recreate the experience of receiving a big pile of random disks full of games, applications, who knows what. I tried doing a search on eBay for "Atari 8 bit disks" but all I found were single (and legit) titles. I'm guessing I may be in the minority for wanting to satiate this particular bit of nostalgia. Does anybody have any ideas?

Hey - I have that same 8mm / super 8mm scanner!

Probably best to keep your eye out for auctions of large batches of "blank" disks.  I keep several working drives around, but only so I can check out the ABBUC disks, and in case I ever rnu across a big batch needing archived.

I found quite a few listing on eBay by including the term "lot", not all will necessarily be for an Atari inspite of it being a required search term, link below:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=%2Batari+5.25"++floppy+lot&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=%2Batari+floppy+lot&_osacat=0

Oh, thank you! I should not have included "8-bit."

How many disks do you want? Will you return them when you are finished with them?

Bob

Hi Bob, I don't want a lot. Just maybe 10 with misc games/other stuff on them that I can put in a case next to my setup and to fire up when the mood strikes me. I'd be happy to return them when I'm finished.
