swapd0
How much memory is eating the ym depacked file?
Ericde45
i would say average 2*65536 bytes for 2 LZ4 buffers depacked + digidrums + sinus sid the DSP depack additionnal LZ4 chunks when necessary ultimate medley YM7 file is more than 2 MB if you depack all the LZ4 chunks

Ericde45
original YM licence from Arnaud Carré for st sound library/ YM is the following above. LZ4 part is MIT licence : https://github.com/arnaud-carre/lz4-68k/blob/master/LICENSE i have no licence on my own work, i think that on a out of market console, anything is good to keep it alive, and freely available source can help a lot. ( if you think i shall add a licence file to state it as public and free, please give any good advice. i am not really aware of this ) Quote ST-Sound library is written by Arnaud Carré and is public domain. You can use it as you wish. If you're using it in your project, any credits in any readme file is appreciated As almost all YM files on the web are packed with LZH method, ST-Sound includes LZH depacking code written by Haruhiko Okumura and modifyed/improved by Kerwin F. Medina. Edited January 24, 2022 by Ericde45

The audio quality is great!
Ericde45
currently the main issue is to create YM7 files, from running ST executables Arnaud Carré did not yet realease its tool to create them.
