lost caves of kroz - special place for me, my brother came by for christmas and we spent many an hour trying to figure out the puzzles.  First time we played

intellivision together in probably 30 years

Sea Battle - Might help that it's 2 player only and so never get to play it

Utopia - Really only like this one 2 player as well

Tron Deadly Discs - Not many games feel like they were actually made for the intellivision controller

Dreadnaught Factor - look at those graphics!

Lock N Chase - controls are smooth as butter!  (wink wink nudge nudge)

Burgertime - never was very good at it

Space Spartans - To me this is the beginning of Real Time Strategy games

Astrosmash - The only game my mom ever played with us

Bomb Squad - Just feels fresh and different for games from this era

I'm sure I'll remember some that I like better, but those look good for now.

Cloudy Mountain

Battlestar Galactica Space Battle

Maria

Tron: Deadlier Discs

Treasure of Tarmin

D2K

Snafu

Shark Shark!

A Tale of Dragons and Swords

Space Spartans

and

The upcoming Akalabeth

Some Maria love.  I very much enjoyed that game.  It's flaw is no save game capability.  A game lasts many hours.  Would benefit from being played on an emulator with save game states if they ever sell the ROM.

Hmmm, I actually like Venture on the Intellivision.  While I'm sure it could have been done better back in the day I would have loved it.

Think I have only played Nova Blast once.  It looked impressive but I recall dying pretty quickly as stuff was happening offscreen that ended the game.  Probably needed to RTFM.

Some great 2 player games I just cannot enjoy unfortunately (no opponent) but I can't leave them off the list simply because of that. So here's mine:

1. AD&D Treasure of Tarmin

2. Space Spartans

3. Triple Action (Biplanes for the win!)

4. Sea Battle (I REALLY miss playing this game)

5. Happy Trails / Loco-Motion (C'mon they're almost the same game)

6. Beauty & the Beast

7. Thin Ice

8. Shark! Shark!

9. Microsurgeon

10. Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man

And I like Defender on Intellivision.  If I had that cartridge as a kid, I would have been very pleased.  I think it's one of the better home versions, the only one that gets the ship turn momentum right.
