edladdin
I wonder if Airworld would be a real game with strategy and objectives? Or just another exercise in placing random objects in random rooms in order to reveal codes? I'm still salty that I blew one of my precious birthday/Christmas cartridge selections on the cash grab that was Earthworld back in 1982.

high voltage
Pac-Man proved to be a stunning financial coup for Atari, and Frye reportedly received $0.10 in royalties per Pac-Man cartridge. Atari would manufacture 12 million cartridges, making Frye a millionaire in the process.
Chris+++
Frye's true 2600 achievement was never released, which is unfortunate. The 1990 (i.e. completed) version of Save Mary! is one of my favorite games on the console. Any particular reason you started this thread four years after the interview was originally uploaded? Save Mary! is a go-to game on the system.
