Lord-Chaos #1 Posted September 5, 2003 I really don´t like this game.Flickering , boring graphics , boring gameplay. Anyone likes this game ?
Osmeroid #2 Posted September 5, 2003 Nope! I think that you've pretty well described Forest, I'm pleased that I have a complete boxed copy but only as a collectors item. As a game, it really stinks!
Room 34 #3 Posted September 5, 2003 I've never even HEARD of this game! (And it's not in the Rarity Guide.) Was this a PAL-only release? Who made it? Screenshots? Thanks...

sku_u #5 Posted September 5, 2003 Gameplay is difficult and tedious. This game is about a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best. Then there is Pac-Kong that has the worst flicker I have ever seen in a game which merits a 0 out of 10. The flicker in Forest is not as bad as it is in Pac-Kong. Room 34 #7 Posted September 5, 2003 http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html?SoftwareLabelID=1591 Ah... I keep forgetting that the Rarity Guide search defaults to North America only on the 2600.
King Atari #8 Posted September 6, 2003 I've been interested in this one for awhile, but I've never seen any screenshots, anyone have some captures for us?
Lord-Chaos #9 Posted September 6, 2003 I've been interested in this one for awhile, but I've never seen any screenshots, anyone have some captures for us? There should be a ROM-file somewhere on the internet so it should be possible to make a screenshot with an emulator. Thimo
King Atari #10 Posted September 6, 2003 Good idea, I'll go check for one today.
sku_u #11 Posted September 6, 2003 Good idea, I'll go check for one today. PM me your email address and I'll send the bin file to you. There really isn't much to the game. I'd post it here, but my zipprogram isn't working correctly and you cannot post a bin file as an attachment for whatever reason.
King Atari #12 Posted September 6, 2003 Just found the ROM over at The Old Computer Dot Com (really, this place has everything, and it all works, I put a vote in for them). You weren't kidding, the game is little more than Bobby Go Home with an axe. I did like chopping that tree, though.
moycon #13 Posted September 9, 2003 I tried the game out, I was slow and tedious, The music was snappy though. Whats the deal. You get to the tree and you just have to chop through it? I did that and it just took me back to the begining. Is this right? Or did I get hit by one of those falling bird turds and not notice?
