Paul Westphal #1 Posted March 18 (edited) This 800 : Has full 48k ram. Power board has been re-capped. Plastic case was scrubbed clean. Card contacts cleaned / polished. Motherboard cleaned with Q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Shows no errors on the Supersalt Diagnostic Station - included a pic - I ran many more cycles on it than it shows, and I also play tested it thoroughly. RF cable has been removed, but comes with composite ( monitor out ) cable. Includes power supply. Keyboard cleaned and fully functional. I'm asking $135 + shipping from Portland, Oregon. I also have a 48k 400. PM me if interested. Edited March 22 by Paul Westphal

elmer #5 Posted March 23 I'm *SO* jealous that I missed this! Thank you Paul for keeping the prices good for those people that care (and aren't just going to flip), and best wishes to @Tindron ... the Atari 800 was the 2nd computer that I owned (as an upgrade from a 400, that was all that I could afford at the time). Paul Westphal #6 Posted March 23 Thanks. The way I figure is : 1) if I get them cheap enough, there’s no reason to get greedy. 2) I know it’s going to someone who will care for it here on AA as opposed to someone on suckbay. 3) I do enjoy doing this. I get my zen working on these. 👍

I do have a 48k 400. FYI You can run the uno cart a 48k 400 but not a stock 800. I’m selling this one because I’m building another.

The 800 was always my dream, and I really regret selling the one that I finally bought, back in the early 90s when it seemed as though I'd never want to program on it again. These days I have a 1200XL that I dearly love, and I don't really *need* an 800, but I got an Incognito a few years back ... so there's something inside me that really wants to go back to the 800 experience. 🙂 Edited March 26 by elmer
