looking for POLO

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

it's been a while since my last visit here but it seems like some new Releases have come up and now i'm trying to fetch them before they're gone ;)

The only game i haven't found yet is the Polo Release from the Phily Classic 4 in the Red Box with Manual.

I read that there where only 50 copys made - does someone know if there is any copy left or does someone of you have a spare copy for sale ?

greetings

Tom

Cassidy sold the last one he had at the CGE2K3 auction, I believe Atari Master won it. It wasn't cheap. ;)

Good luck. :)

And if you want them all, you'll of course also need the green version of Polo :D

Cheers,

Marco

The last time that I saw a green one up for bid on eBay was in the early summer and it finished somewhere in the neighborhood of $50. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that Cassidy doesn't have any left for sale of either version. :(

Don't forget Tig that I was there too. ;)

You don't count. You were at least two people ahead of us and who can see past the hulking mammoth that is Ed Seigler, anyway? :P

Osmeroid, now I'm trying to remember, did you get a Polo #1 (in the auction???) AND a “regular” numbered copy?

What?!? The guy’s friggin’ HUGE! Like Lou Ferrigno huge! If the two of us were in a Charles Atlas comic book ad, I’d be the 98 lb weakling getting the sand kicked in my face.

No, I got numbers #2 & #39 of the green boxed copies and #2 and a 'regular' of the red boxed copies, all thanks to the highly talented Mr Nolen. 8)

Of course, thats because of Osmeroids artistic talents! :D

He did both boxes and manual designs for the game. I can take credit only for the green labels. The man is good. Now if I can ever get off my duff and write a game.........(dreams off into space).

I don't like kicking sand in other people's faces' date=' unless it's Stan.

Same group from PC4 gonna be in for 5?[/quote']

Well, I certainly HOPE to attend, but in reality the early date may make travel impractical. David should know better than to schedule this thing during the winter in the Northeast.

:? Isn't PC5 just a week earlier than PC4 was? I thought it was the last weekend in March last year.

I'll be there. :D
