Some improvement.   This one reminds me a bit of Gravitar in how how have to manage the physics, make small movements, avoid touching the ground/walls, and the later levels you cannot see the walls.  Like that one it takes a bit to grow on you.

I will say that this is a little awkward with a joystick and feels a lot better and more natural with a trackball even if it’s not much easier.

I was hoping to break 100K but I think this is probably going to be it for me this week. Once I'm in the dark with the unshielded core and run out of lures it's just game over for me every time >_<

Yeah, I’ve put one by a wall, making it easier to knock things into it. I also put one in one of those corner zones and it got some guys to go in and bounce around for points.

I really like the flow of the game. This bouncing around is somehow satisfying

the levels with invisible walls AND magnetic reactor are really ramping up the difficulty.

I only use them when I have 9 in the bank and cannot accumulate anymore.  I'd rather get the 500 points at the end of the game.

 

When I do use them, I place them near an entrance to the corner zone as @fakecortex suggests.

That was what I was thinking. I didn’t realize you could accumulate more - is it just by progressing or scoring points?

Aw man!!!

 

This reminds me of the physical strength assessment where you're supposed to hold your arm up and the assessor tries to push it every which way and you're supposed to keep it upright. If you don't know what I'm talking about you're lucky :)

Okay I am done with this one, was going for rollage but I lost the will to live 🤣, suicides for my last 4 men

 

My time was pretty good 1hr 42 mins for 300k..

This game has one of my favorite scoring mechanics: the pinball style point bonus after you die. 
 

This is NOT a score improvement, but: back on real hardware, baby!

And now I can really say that the trackball doesn’t really make it easier, just a little more fun to play.
