The Usotsuki #3 Posted April 18 I always thought of them as creatures with sheets on their heads to look like ghosts. Not actual ghosts, just creatures playing ghosts. And the cutscenes seem to bear that out. 1

Giles N #10 Posted April 19 (edited) … and I’m like - they be ghosts, monsters, monsters of ghosts or ghosts of monsters, - but what, what then is PacMan himself…? facis hominis ? facis in homine ? sarcina hominem ? Edited April 19 by Giles N

Jinks #17 Posted April 20 Could a ghost be a monster? Sal: "That ghost raped my brother!" Tom: "What a monster!" When bumped Pac Man into them I called them FUCK!
Cebus Capucinis #18 Posted April 20 This guy....needs to.....learn to.....space out....his....words.... adequately rather.....than speaking....like he's.....running out.....of breath.....every....two words. Also Ellen Page (oh, excuse me, Elliot Page) would like his, her, errm, its? genetic material back, which was obviously used poorly for a bad clone. He also looks exactly like Shawn described him. 😂

zzip #23 Posted April 20 I never thought of them as ghosts. People just started calling them ghosts BITD because they resembled a kid's "sheet-ghost" halloween costume and the name stuck.
+Karl G #24 Posted April 20 If they were really ghosts, then they should be able to go through the maze walls to get to you. That might make for a fun "Unfair Pac-Man" hack.
Jaden (JRH) #25 Posted April 20 (edited) I thought the ghosts were jellyfish or squids when I was a kid. I guess then that would make Pac-Man a little fish eating fish flakes. And some really soggy fruit, random bells, crashed spaceships and their keys. I mean hey, all kinds of stuff ends up sinking to the bottom of the ocean. I really like @CMR's interpretation. Since the game is all about eating food, it would make sense that the ghosts were actually food too. Edited April 20 by Jaden (JRH)
