joeybastard #1 Posted September 9, 2003 Last night I decided to clean my my 3 CV consoles. All 3 were having various bad connection problems. Some left lines on the screen, some had the wrong colors, game freezes, etc. I held back the little silver door and inserted a Qtip dipped in alcohol into the cart conector a few times. I then used a dry Qtip on the connectors. Pretty damn dirty indeed! The crowning act thouigh was taking an old broken circuit tester and using the pointy end to bend the contacts back towards the center. HOLY SH*T!! What a difference! I've cleaned them before but bending the contacts worked a 1000x better. All 3 work perfectly now and I'm very happy Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
