Timestamp Builds

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd share this observation;

I changed my build process to generate a timestamped binary and shuffle it off to a "ROMs" directory. So essentially I have one of every binary I've built since I did that. There are currently 5,860 binaries in that directory - all since March 3rd.  I make that roughly 120 builds per day, on average.

Most of those will have involved an edit of one sort or another. That's a lot of builds!

@Albert - something odd about this post. I accessed as the latest post in the Programming section:

the path at the top of the post:

puts it in the Atari 2600 Programming forum, but # Builds is nowhere to be found. Based on Wednesday I would have expected to see it by the Space Pac-Man topic. Perhaps something's up with the leading # character?

I also have some vague recollection when I posted that it didn't appear where I expected it to.

If you still have the ability to edit the post, maybe try changing the title to something like Timestamp Builds and see if that makes it show up in the Atari 2600 Programming forum.
