+Cafeman #1 Posted September 10, 2003 http://cafeman.www9.50megs.com/atari/5200d...ffiSecrets.html It's been almost a year since I completed Koffi:Yellow Kopter, and to date nobody has admitted to finding the hidden secret. I made its activation ... well, let's say COMPLEX. I was prepared to never reveal it, but now I've changed my mind. So, I made a new page explaining not only how to activate the hidden 'easter egg' secret I put into Koffi: Yellow Kopter, but also a picture of it (don't expect anything too impressive mind you, it's just a little secret!) and also some other information for any who might be interested. Next time you Koffi owners fire up the game, give it a try and see if you can pull it off. I suggest playing on Easy mode since the fire moves slowly. +-^CrossBow^- #2 Posted September 10, 2003 Well for some reason your link doesn't work correctly directly. But here is the Link again as I copied and pasted it: http://cafeman.www9.50megs.com/atari/5200d...ffiSecrets.html If that fails..then put in the above link but remove the KoffiSecrets.html from it. Then load it up. You will be at the main 5200Dev area. Choose Koffie: Yellow Kopter from the list and then on the Koffi page itself will be a link to the secrets page. This one works. I haven't tried the Egg yet Ron, but I knew the Fox was involved. You actually told me that about a year ago...hehe. Still, I find this to be a somewhat complex egg that probably would have taken a very long time to find even accidentally, and even then...nearly impossible to figure out what had been done to activate it. Can you do this on any level then, or does it have to be on the Windy Vines?
+Cafeman #3 Posted September 10, 2003 That link works for me every time. Don't know what the deal is there. Maybe the site is experiencing problems? You have to do it on Windy Vines because that is the only stage where the fox will appear.
+davidcalgary29 #4 Posted September 10, 2003 Can you give us an update on the progress of porting "Koffi" to the 8-bits? And what're those rumours I've been hearing about a "Koffi 2"?
DEBRO #5 Posted September 10, 2003 Can you give us an update on the progress of porting "Koffi" to the 8-bits? I've been working on this with Ron and I just haven't had the time to do any more right now. It will get finished I promise. I just have too many projects and not enough time right now. Brad2600 #6 Posted September 11, 2003 If I may comment, That screenshot of Koffi looks pretty interesting. Perhaps I will have to pick up this game once the Als get all those common games I sent to be used towards homebrews and store credit.
+Cafeman #7 Posted September 11, 2003 Concerning Koffi 8bit: As DEBRO stated, it will get done, we are both otherwise occupied right now. The 8bit cart version needs the ROM code shifted around into banks (assuming 2 16K banks), and we haven't gotten around to it. Concerning a "Koffi 2", it's a side project of mine. Adventure II is my main project along with that dirty ole Raccoon fellow. I'm still not sure what direction Koffi 2 might go, but it won't be the same exact type of game with different level graphics.
