Albert #1 Posted September 11, 2003 Fans of the Commodore 64 will be glad to hear that Atari 2600 programmer Manuel Polik (author of Star Fire and Gunfight) has been busy working on a SID to Atari 2600 music convertor. Lee's Peek 'n' Poke has collected several Commodore 64 tunes that Manuel has converted to the Atari 2600 so you can download them and enjoy them yourself. The music include Rob Hubbard's Sanxion, Final Synth, Commando, and Monty on the Run pieces, as well as Martin Galway's Ocean loader. You can grab the tunes here, and you'll need an Atari 2600 emulator such as z26 to play them.

krisjohn #5 Posted September 11, 2003 I'll hook my CC up to have a listen soon, but meanwhile I've been using my CatWeasel with a read SID chip to record MP3s of classic C64 tunes. There's a thread here: http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9253 And I'm sure it will get updated when some more files are ready to download. krisjohn #10 Posted September 29, 2003 And I'm sure it will get updated when some more files are ready to download. My SID recordings are at: http://c64.ch/mp3/ I do new ones whenever I find a track worth recording. There are something like 18,000 tracks in the premier SID collection. I take requests. MegaManFan #11 Posted September 29, 2003 If a Last Ninja SID-Cart was ever made for 2600, I'd buy 10 copies.
