RCmodeler #1 Posted September 11, 2003 Just curious.... I've always picked Monday nights to end my auction, but is that really the best time to make maximum profit? -------------- http://www.thelibertycommittee.org U.S. House of Representatives - The Liberty Caucus - "to restore individual liberty & freedom in the United States"
maximebeauvais #2 Posted September 11, 2003 I will say Sunday or Thursday?
Lost Monkey #3 Posted September 11, 2003 The best "day" changes throughout the year... for example, Sunday afternoon is really good during the winter, but in the early summer it is dead.. The best times I have found are during the week between 9-11pm EST. That way you get all the east and west coast people. This advice is obviously only if you expect North American bidders... jetset #4 Posted September 11, 2003 I don't know about form a selling point of view, but for buyers I think Sunday is best. It seems more auctions end on Sunday afternoon/evening than any other time. With so many ending at once I think it keeps the snipers from getting ALL the good deals and that leaves plenty to be had.
holygrailvideogames.com #5 Posted September 11, 2003 I personally have not had any luck ending or starting auctions on Mondays. I would say that usually Sunday and Thursday evenings work best, but one time I decided to sell about 10 items on a Friday afternoon. Every single item sold and every one paid. I was shocked. I always thought afternoons weren't a good time to list items. In the past I have tried selling on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and haven't had very good success. wrldstrman #6 Posted September 12, 2003 I say it depends on the items if you have quadrun and it ends on tuesday at 3 o clock in the morning people will stay up to bid or set the snipe programs. for common stuff sunday evenings seem to be good.
