Your object is to acquire the two halves of the ancient Crown of Kings, hidden deep within the caverns of the legendary Cloudy Mountain. To reach the treasure, you must cross a hostile land. The obstacles are numerous. Your resources are courage, cunning and three arrows. The rest you must find and fight to obtain. If you survive the wasteland and the creatures of the caves, you will have traveled out of danger into even greater peril. For each half of the Crown of Kings is guarded by terror --- the Winged Dragons keep their endless watch. Game Scoring Win the Crown of Kings (from the Purple Mountain) with 3 men remaining = 12 points. Win the Crown of Kings (from the Purple Mountain) with 2 men remaining = 7 points. Win the Crown of Kings (from the Purple Mountain) with 1 man remaining = 3 points. No Crown of Kings, but played the game = 1 participation point. MAX OUT SCORE FOR THIS GAME IS 12 TOTAL POINTS!!! Finished the hardest level (purple mountain) with all 3 guys remaining. I had to comb the entire Cloudy Mountain to find the Winged Dragons, lol they were hiding... ? I posted a few photos cuz it's hard to see the 3 dots on Cloudy Mountain. It's amazing to me that you guys can beat the hard level and not even lose 1 man. That's outstanding!? And,I gotta agree with Matt. This game is as great and well designed,if not better than any other Intellivision game period. I use my arrows to silence the bats, I try to run away from spiders but sometimes kill them because they irriritate me,I shoot down the wrong tunnel to try to kill a snake and get hit by the ricochet while wasting an arrow,or a Demon or dragon chews me to pieces. This game is hard!? I better practice running away faster and being more cautious ⚠️ as well.? Yeah it isn’t easy, but the key is to get good at pinpointing where the enemies are by going around different paths and listening closely. It is apparently my destiny to fail,and my final resting place shall be the blue mountain where I was torn to shreds by an angry Demon whilst trying to abscond with his boat. Trick the snake into chasing you AWAY from the axe, then loop around and pick it up. Try not to waste arrows on the bats, because of course they interfere with the sound cues of other monsters. I made it further in other attempts but still never got to the gates.
