wrldstrman #1 Posted September 12, 2003 What is the best bin anyone has scored on ebay.I only get to surf ebay a few hours a week so I have only got one good bin that was boing for 50.00 dollars.Would of loved to have got that bin lot with up n down for 50.00 dollars. How many hours does one have to spend parked in front of the computer to get the good bins.I dont know that anyone here at aa spends that much time watching for bins but I just know some of the people that sell atari games trying to make a living must sit at the computer for endless hours watching for the bins. opinions

Ralph3 #3 Posted September 12, 2003 I missed a $10.00 BIN for a 2600 Crazy Climber by 3 minutes. It would've been the score of the century.

holygrailvideogames.com #6 Posted September 12, 2003 The best BINs on Ebay I win are usually the ones posted during the hour a month when CPUWIZ' date=' McGrail007 et.al are sleeping [/quote'] I sleep two hours a day. This would equal about 60 hours a month. CPUWIZ is the one who sleeps maybe an hour a month. I haven't scored that many good BIN's lately.

holygrailvideogames.com #8 Posted September 12, 2003 The best buy it nows that I scored were from one seller. I bought 4 new DVD/VCR players for $15 each, a new Xbox for $50, a new Sony digital camera for $40, and a new digital camcorder for $45. The seller finally caught on and stopped using BIN's. Just about every auction that the seller would list would end in 20 seconds or less. I wish I had DSL then because I would have been able to buy a lot more of their items. My dial up was just to slow to win most of their auctoins. I saw one guy makes several thousands of dollars just from items that he bought from that company. +-^CrossBow^- #9 Posted September 12, 2003 My best BIN scores are actually accomplished during the few minutes that CPUWIZ, Tempest, McGrail, and Marco are busy in the bathroom. Unless they are gonna admit to having PCs in the Head with internet connections!!!
Spirantho #10 Posted September 12, 2003 This is my best eBay score: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3536175989 I work all day but I code C++ for a living so occasionally I get a chance to take a quick look at what BINs have been put up while the program compiles or something. I have Atari 2600 Buy it Now's bookmarked for quick access! :-) The above auction was valid for about 9 minutes.

holygrailvideogames.com #12 Posted September 12, 2003 I have passed on a lot of good BIN's lately because I simply don't have room for anything else until I sell off part of my collection. I have more items than almost every game store that I have ever been to. I have finished my 5200 and 7800 collection and am almost done with my Intellivision, Vectrex and Atari Lynx collection. I have kind of started collecting for the Atari 2600 system, but I don't know if I will continue with that or not. I haven't had the best of luck selling off the extra carts that I get from large Atari 2600 lots. I am thinking of starting a Colecovision collection next. As long as I am collecting, I will continue to keep an eye out for good deals.

As long as I am collecting' date=' I will continue to keep an eye out for good deals.[/quote'] You definitely wont have much luck around here. Just about everyone has most of the commons already. Most of them aren't worth more than 25-50 cents. A buck a piece is truly pushing it. The last 4 times I posted long lists here, I received 0 replies. Even when I was trying to dump them for next to nothing. I was stuck with almost 500 commons at one point before I moved. I finally donated them all to Good Will, figuring I could use the chartiable donation as a write off and make some local newbie collector happy.
