3DO bin+cue vs iso+cue when creating game backups

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am trying to understand the difference between the Redump and TOSEC sets. For 3DO games, Redump has their images as BIN+CUE files, while TOSEC has ISO+CUE images. First of all, how do you get an image in an ISO+CUE format? The images I have for my 3DO games are always BIN+CUE, which I can convert to ISO and burn it to a CD.

Bottomline, when I rip a 3DO CD, my files match the Redump hashes but not TOSEC. Is there a way to convert from the TOSEC ISO+CUE format to the Redump BIN+CUE format?

Thanks!
