Game with the Most Individual Ports

Those are emulated and not ports.

Interesting how things like ACA NeoGeo can’t count as ports at all by some. I think I’ve always casually referred to them as ports, as well as seeing some others refer to them as such including the devs. Would you say that ports can only be physical or could there exist ports in some other digital capacity?

Pinball Dreams is up there too. Probably the most ported pinball game after Farsight’s engine?

If you go old school, it might be Pinball Fantasies, having been on systems like the Jaguar unlike Pinball Dreams. New school might indeed be FarSight's The Pinball Arcade.

Pinball Dreams and Fantasies should have an equal amount of ports, they tended to get handed around at the same time, even at times, together, such as Pinball Challenge Deluxe on the GBA in the UK, that has both in one package (I own it.)  It came out on so many obscure things, but relatively regionally not obscure like various Amigas and euro-PC formats.  There were some pretty poor house versions like the GB and Game Gear, decent stuff like the 16bit systems having it like SNES as well.  I'd really be curious how many versions you can dig up when you get into the weeds like that Nokia video.

The PS3 and PS Vita releases of Pinball Dreams and Fantasies are just the PSP version emulated, so I wouldn’t count them. Was the MeeMo version even released? All I find about it is a demo from Meemo Sverige:

Seeing as how another user seems to just so casually have it in 2011 and its latest update having been in 2012, I'd presume so:

Is Terraria the most physically ported game from after 2010?

Minecraft had a beta release in 2009, but an official release in 2011, and it looks like it was released on:

  • Java (home computers)
  • Windows
  • Android
  • iOS
  • Windows Phone (whatever OS that is called)
  • Xbox 360
  • PS3
  • PS4
  • Vita
  • Wii U
  • Nintendo Switch
  • New 3DS
  • Xbox One
  • Raspberry Pi

There are also variants for Minecraft Education, but I assume those are all based on the Java version.  There are at least 14 unique platform versions, then...

I understand that Minecraft was physically released on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, Wii U, New Nintendo 3DS, and Switch, but no physical PC release, which makes it eight. I also found out that Angry Birds Star Wars had several physical versions released around 2012, being on Wii instead of Switch.

/\/\ LOL - I was surprised to see Klax on the list.  I didn't even know about that game until I started getting into retro-gaming years later.

What about "Snake" and games like it.  It is kind of like Tetris in that there are so many versions of the move a worm like thing around a maze and don't bump yourself game that it would definitely be in the top group if you counted them all.  It was of course famously put on phones and all kinds of mobile doo-dahs.

I kinda blame Microsoft for that one in including a version of that with QBASIC in MS-DOS 5 and 6 (as well as PC DOS 5).

Ack -- for some reason I missed the "physical" part of your statement.  Yeah, that would seem to put Terraria ahead...

Yeah, those are also nice. Companies have been pretty good about keeping older games accessible to newer generations I feel, like with Rampage:
