TGB1718
If by red light you mean the power LED then I suggest either your power supply is faulty or the power supply circuit inside the 400 is faulty. If you measure the power supply with a meter when disconnected from the 400, you should get somewhere between 9 and 11 Volts AC. If that's ok, you need to open it up and see if the 5V and 12V supplies are ok.
ACML
Does the red light come back on or is it now out completely? If it won't light up anymore, did you smell any hot plastic like smell or see any smoke? If it does not light up anymore and no visual smoke, do you have a way to test the 9VAC power brick? 400s have been know to have a bad power board and it blows the 5 amp glass fuse in the 9VAC power brick. If that's the case, don't try another power brick or you will just blow the fuse in that one too. If it is the 400's power board, just swap out the whole power board as they are like $15.
